How I created Piscarius' story
I made up this possible scenario based on the forensic clues:
Male aged 40+ at time of death;
Extreme dental wear on WS8 and WS6 (molars?);
Evidence of tooth and gum infection;
Skull shape indicates he was Northern European;
Isotopes show he was from a colder climate than the UK, perhaps the Polish coast or possibly the Black Sea region;
Isotope analysis shows that his diet was high in millet, a grain that was not grown in Britain at the time.
Originally the scientists thought that he had also consumed a lot of fish.
