What do I think of the recent influx of foreigners here in Venta Belgarum? I don't mind them! My father and I own this tavern and thanks to them business has never been better. Mind you, it's no good for my back! My father's getting old (over forty) and I'm his only son, so I have to do all the heavy work. Mainly I carry wine barrels in, and drunks out – ha ha! – but lately me and my pal Tongilianus have been building an annexe in the back. Those foreigners like to have private rooms for their meetings and guilds. So it's good news for me and my dad.
